NSA Minnesota Code of Ethics

NSA Minnesota Code of Ethics

NSA Minnesota embraces the five core values of NSA—abundant generosity, elevating excellence, intentional language, honorable innovation, and uplifting humanity. Our Code of Ethics aligns with these values. As members, we commit to these agreements and hold each other accountable. (For more on the values, check out https://nsaspeaker.org/about/#values)

Abundant Generosity. We serve speakers. We encourage the success of fellow members, freely offer value in meetings and events, and never undermine or disparage others.

Elevating Excellence. We strive to build better businesses and become better speakers, while helping others do the same. We make an honest effort to attend events, promote others in positive ways, and never add people to marketing campaigns without permission.

Intentional Language. We are honest and truthful in our marketing, credentials, and promises. We honor our commitments and agreements.

Honorable Innovation. We respect intellectual property and do not use another’s content without permission. When we share insights, ideas, or quotes learned from others, we do so with generous and appropriate attribution. We also protect private or sensitive information shared within the group.

Uplifting Humanity. We use our voices to inspire and uplift. We treat all people—members, clients, and audiences—with dignity, embrace diversity, and create a welcoming, harassment-free environment that leaves others better through our profession and community.

Following this Code of Ethics strengthens the legacy of NSA Minnesota and ensures our community thrives. Thank you for your commitment.

Note: This Code is not meant to be legalistic, but to guide how we engage as professionals and community members.
